  • All applicants require a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Middle and high school teachers must have a bachelor’s degree in the subject area they wish to teach.
  • Faculty of the Special Education department require a university degree in special needs.
  • Teaching assistants require a bachelor’s degree in either education or English literature.

If found suitable for a current job opening, the below documents need to be provided in order to be considered for the position;

  • A cover letter summarizing your interest in the position, no more than one page in length.
  • A current resume.
  • Copies of all degrees earned.
  • Validated and attested university degree/s.
  • Copies of transcripts.
  • Two reference letters.
  • Experience letters from previous employers.
  • Previous ministry of education approval if present.
  • Passport copy (valid for no less than two years) and a copy of the civil id for local hires.

 

Dasman leadership team will be conducting the interviews in person at varying recruitment fairs or via skype for applicants who are unable to attend selected job fairs.

  • For his perfect attendance, the employee will receive the following payment:

 -100KD  for not being absence during the full academic year,80KD for one-day absence during the full academic year, and 60KD for two days’ absence during the full academic year.

- Bonus for new hires (applied for academic Staff only)

- If a returning staff member recommends a new employee for employment at Dasman School, the returning staff member will be paid a bonus of K.D.

- 150 if the following conditions are met:

- The recommended employee should serve for one academic year, and returning employees should fill out the form as soon as possible and send it to HR after receiving approval from both the Principal and the Superintendent

- Extra Bonus (applied for academic Staff only)

- After completing three years of service and renewing for the fourth year, the employee will get a special payment of K.D. 200/-.

- Salary calculation considers applicant’s previous experience as a full-time teacher, his/her university degree, and the position they are applying for.

  • Benefits for Non overseas staff

  • Government medical insurance as per country policy
  • The school covers the costs of obtaining a residency visa and obtaining a civil ID.

- 50% off the first child's tuition, 25% off the second child's tuition - Perfect Attendance Bonus (applied for academic Staff only)

            Employee will get the following payment, for his perfect attendance:

            100KD  for not being absence during the full academic year,80KD for one-day absence during the full academic year, and 60KD for two days’ absence during the full academic year.

- Recruitment Bonus (applicable to academic employees)

If a returning staff member recommends a new employee for employment at Dasman School, the returning staff member will be paid a bonus of K.D. 150 if the following conditions are met:

- The suggested (recommended) employee should serve for one academic year and returning workers should fill out the form as soon as possible and send it to HR after receiving approval from the Principal and Superintendent.

- Extra Bonus (applied for academic Staff only)

After completing three years of service and renewing for the fourth year, the employee will get a special payment of K.D. 200/-.

  • Accommodation for overseas employees:

The DBS provides a fully furnished housing for overseas staff as follows:

  • Single accommodation: the DBS owns 4 buildings allocated in Mahboula area (Universe buildings).
  • Married accommodation: the DBS owns a building allocated in Sharq area which is provided to married couples with kids (double bedroom)
  • Married couples with no kids may be allocated in Mahboula or Sharq (one bedroom) as available.

 

The DBS provides a fully furnished housing for overseas staff as follows:

Single accommodation: the DBS owns 4 buildings allocated in Mahboula area (Universe buildings). Married accommodation: the DBS owns a building allocated in Sharq area which is provided to married couples with kids (double bedroom) Married couples with no kids may be allocated in Mahboula or Sharq (one bedroom) as available.
